How will you spend eternity? Do you believe that those who are considered to be 'Good' will spend eternity in heaven, and those who are considered bad will go to hell? If you believe this, then one question remains; How do we know if we are good ENOUGH to get to Heaven?
Let's begin by looking at the very thing in which the bible says God has placed on our conscience mind in which we must base our moral lives and our eternal destiny, that is the Law of God. (Ten Commandments)
We'll Start by looking at the third commandment:
Exodus 20:7 - "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain."
Have you ever taken the name of the LORD in vain? If so, you have taken the name of the same God who gave you your life, and used it as a four letter filth word to express disgust. This is a serious crime in God's sight.
Are you guilty of breaking this law?
Let's Continue by looking at the Eighth commandment:
Exodus 20:15 - "You shall not steal."
Did you ever steal something in your life? (Regardless of the item's value) It so, God sees you as a thief.
Are you guilty of breaking this law?
There is one particular commandment in which most individuals believe they have not violated, and that is the sixth commandment.
Exodus 20:13 - "You shall not murder."
